Congratulations to the Evergreen GU15 team who WON the Championship State Cup with a 3-1 victory over Eastside FC. A sun drenched Starfire Stadium housed the spectacle which encountered some meaningful possession which resulted in a tremendous goal via a deft finish by Lindsay Licht halfway through the first half.

Eastside replied with a wonder strike from 25 yards from a free kick, with a quality worthy of a cup final equalizer and the game met half time with the score line all square

The second half saw the Evergreen side produce some magic down the right hand side which led to a lovely goal as Sadie Hitsky struck across the keeper to make it 2-1.  Finally Evergreen rounded off an unforgettable day with a final goal, superbly taken by Lindsay Licht once more for her brace for the day and a championship trophy to add to their cabinet. What an amazing season for a wonderful group of ladies and everyone involved with the team and the club.  Congratulations and the very best of luck as they take their place at Regionals in Lancaster on June 14th.
